| We have given considerable thought to the smooth-running of jobs and to this end we have developed a special calendar. If we all abide by this calendar, problems will be eliminated. Please advise of any deviations that may be necessary in order to meet your Company's requirements. |

This calendar has been developed for handling rush jobs. All rush jobs are wanted yesterday, so all dates run backwards. With this calendar, a client can order work on the 7th and have it delivered on the 3rd.
Everyone wants work done by Friday - so there are three Fridays in every week.
There are five new days at the end of the month - for those 'end of the month' jobs.
There is no first of the month - so there can be no late delivery on 'end of the month' jobs.
No-one likes Mondays - so they have been eliminated.
There are no Saturdays or Sundays - so overtime rates can be kept to a minimum.
There is a special day each week called 'Mirday' for 'The Performing of Miracles'. |
